Two Mid-West Co-Ops Merge to Form Co-Alliance Cooperative With $1.3B in Sales

Two Indiana-based agricultural and energy-focused cooperatives - Harvest Land Co-op and Co-Alliance Cooperative Inc - have announced their agreement to merge.

After the merger takes effect on February 1, the newly-resulting organization will be called Co-Alliance Cooperative and will be serving customers across Indiana, Ohio, Michigan, and Illinois.

The merged business, which brings together two strong cooperatives, will have more than 1,000 employees and $1.3 billion in sales and be centered upon four core pillars: Agronomy, Energy, Grain and Swine, and Animal Nutrition.

Both boards have chosen current CEO of Co-Alliance Kevin Still to be the new president and CEO of the merged business, which will be headquartered in Avon, Indiana, and current Harvest Land CEO Scott Logue to be the Executive Vice President.
