Landus, Indigo Ag Collaborate to Bring Digital Opportunities to Farmers

Landus and Indigo Ag have announced a partnership designed to improve on-farm profitability by leveraging emerging digital opportunities in agriculture.

Based in Ames, Iowa, Landus is the largest agricultural co-op in the state, with locations in more than 60 communities serving more than 7,000 farming families across its five pillars of agronomy, grain, feed, animal nutrition, and data.

Through this collaboration, Landus’ farmers will be able to generate new capital flows from carbon farming by participating in Indigo Ag’s leading carbon program. This connection will provide access to comprehensive measurement capabilities, relationships with carbon registries, a network of buyers, and modern technical infrastructure.

Additionally, the partnership will also play to the strengths of each company to enable Landus’ farmers to improve crop yields and increase production efficiencies through Indigo’s stack of solutions that include grain marketing tools and microbial seed treatments.

This carbon farming program will be available to Landus’ growers in the first quarter of 2022, with new additional programs to follow.
