ADM Adding 400,000 Tons of Crush Capacity Per Year across Three Brazilian Facilities

As demand continues to grow in both domestic and export markets, Archer Daniels Midland (ADM) is making a series of investments to expand the crush capacity at three of its oilseed processing facilities in Campo Grande, Mato Grosso do Sol; Porto Franco, Maranhão; and Uberlandia, Minas Gerais in Brazil.

In total, all expansion projects will amount to an additional crush capacity of approximately 400,000 metric tons per year for ADM in the country.

Additionally, ADM announced it has completed the acquisition of a controlling stake in  Buckminster Química, a producer of refined glycerin in Macatuba, São Paulo.
