Montana Grain Facility With Organic and Kosher Certifications to be Auctioned Off in September


Pardue Grain Inc. will be selling its grain elevator and pulse processing facility located in Cut Bank, Montana, via auction in September.

Owned by the sellers since 1959, the facility is located 12 miles west of Cut Bank with its own 10-car private rail spur off of BNSF’s mainline, and holds multiple food-grade ratings, including organic and kosher certifications.

An expansion costing $8.25 million had recently been completed at the site that included the food grade pulse processing facility, a warehouse, expanded grain handling bins, conveying equipment, a new scale house, and main office buildings.

A combination of factors beyond the company’s control in the form of construction delays and the pandemic are forcing the sale.

The main property and equipment will sell in tracts or in its entirety via a sealed bid auction, with bids due by September 15. The ancillary support equipment will be sold piecemeal via a timed online auction ending on September 16.
