Organic and Non-GMO Grain Market Data Company Mercaris Upgrades Price Reporting
Mercaris, the market data and online trading startup focused on U.S. organic and non-GMO agriculture, announced it is upgrading its grain and oilseed pricing tool, the Mercaris Organic & Non-GMO Commodity Price Breakdown Report.
The enhancement will expand Mercaris’ existing pricing data coverage from four to seven regions across the U.S. and Canada, giving users more granular regional pricing data, and will add more value and insight for users that rely on timely, accurate pricing information for major organic and non-GMO grains and oilseeds.
This update includes volume-weighted average pricing data from The Mercaris Market Survey, the largest and most comprehensive organic and non-GMO data set available to date, with participation from more than 50 first handler facilities representing 25 percent of the total domestic organic and non-GMO market.
The updated regions include the Southeast, the West and East coasts, the Corn Belt, the High Plains, and Western and Eastern Canada.
