Richardson International Acquires 10 Crop Input Retail Locations From CHS
Richardson International has acquired 10 retail locations across Canada’s Western Prairies from CHS Canada.
Nine of the retail sites are located in Alberta, in the towns of Alix, Beiseker, Bow Island, Carseland, Craddock, Lacombe, Rolling Hills, Standard, and Vauxhall. The tenth site is located in Edenwold, in Saskatchewan. All of the sites provides farmers with full-service crop input services that include chemical, fertilizer, and seed sales.
This deal is a continuation for Richardson, which has been growing its presence across Western Canada through a string of acquisitions and new construction. In August of this year, the company acquired two retail crop input locations in Vermillion and Forestburg, Alberta, and last summer opened another new crop inputs location in Elrose, Saskatchewan. Further, later this month, the company plans to open another new location in Pasqua, Saskatchewan.
