Organic and Non-GMO Supply Chain Company Pipeline Foods Launches Farm Profit Program

Pipeline Foods, the first supply chain company dedicated to strengthening and expanding the organic and non-GMO grain supply chain, announced the launch of its Farm Profit Program - a platform through which farmers can increase their profitability as they shift to organic production.

Organic food comprises 5 percent of food sales in the U.S., however only 1 percent of the country’s farmland is engaged in organic production, according to the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA), and Pipeline Foods foresees their Farm Profit Program being key to expanding the area of organic grain production across the U.S.

The platform will include economic support programs; customized marketing arrangements for organic and transitional crops; an organic crop insurance program; a three-year agronomic plan and customized in-person expert support; access to regional seeds, fertilizer, and equipment; certification support, and a community network with other organic producers.
