First Dedicated Non-GMO, Organic Ingredient Supply Chain Company Launches
Pipeline Foods - a global organization developing sustainable supply chains for non-GMO and organic grains, oilseeds, and ingredients for both food and feed - announced the launch of its global operations from its headquarters in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
With the backing of AMERRA Capital Management and Pipeline Opportunity Partners, Pipeline Foods states that it is making significant investments in assets that will provide supply chain solutions that add value for the non-GMO and organic grain and oilseed industries.
Unlike other suppliers, Pipeline will not focus on a specific segment or particular commodity, rather, it aims to support both farmers and food companies through a wide range of services along the supply chain.
With a goal in place to invest between $300 million and $500 million in the sector over the next three to five years, Pipeline has also established regional headquarters in Winnipeg, Canada, and Buenos Aires, Argentina, and had built up a team of more than 40 employees.
