Cargill Opens Tenth Aquaculture Feed Line in Vietnam

Cargill achieved the benchmark of opening its tenth aquaculture feed line in Vietnam and its second in North Vietnam at its mill in Ha Nam.

Cargill first began producing aquaculture feed in Vietnam in 1998 and has since marked the country as a key market. Upon Cargill’s acquisition of EWOS in 2015, the company’s facilities in Vietnam were integrated into its plant network in the country, to which this newest line will add production capacity of 3,000 tons per month, focusing on feed for tilapia and other local species.

Additionally, the added capacity at the strategically located Ha Nam plant will raise the company’s ability to provide feed to customers in the agricultural areas of Ha Nam, Hanoi, Thai Binh, and the broader North Central Vietnam region where farmers are rapidly modernizing their operations.
