Nibulon Announces Plans to Construct $15M Grain Elevator in Ukraine

Nibulon announced plans to construct a $15 million high capacity grain elevator in the Cherkasy region of Ukraine.

The facility will have an annual capacity of 200,000 tons of grain per year and will be able to serve three regions according to Nibulon general director, Oleksiy Vadaturskyy.

The project is being touted as offering producers grain storage at a favorable price and as a development that will raise the confidence of foreign investors who are reluctant to commit funds or resources to the region due to the ongoing war.

“Nibulon’s specialists are studying sites to construct the facility in Uman or Khrystynivka regions,” said Yuriy Tkachenko, the head of Cherkasy Regional State Administration. “The process to execute the required documents has been started.”

In 2007 Nibulon constructed the elevator complex of its Zolotonis'ka branch in the Zolotonosha district, and in 2009 built the transshipment terminal of Vitove branch in the Chygyryn district. The group is also leasing land for the cultivation of crops at Chygyryn and Kamyanka.
