The new high capacity, state-of-the-art facility will boast four receiving pits, two high capacity shipping legs, a high efficiency grain dryer, a river belt, and will be linked to an available app and cgbonline.com, a secure site where customers can access information regarding their grain transactions, tickets, contracts, and settlements.
"CGB is excited about this new river terminal. Both this facility and our newly constructed elevator in Osceola, AR will introduce customers to some of the largest and most efficient handling capabilities along the inland river system,” said Steve Everett, Facility Manager.
Headquartered in Mandeville, Louisiana, CGB Enterprises, Inc. operations approximately 100 grain facilities across the U.S. Midwest region, and is also involved in fertilizer, crop insurance, agri-finance, logistics and transportation, soybean processing, and risk management.
