Romanian Agribusiness Group Brings Frenchman to Head its Grain Trading Division
As part of its strategy to increase local grain famers’ access to regional and overseas markets, Romanian agribusiness, Agricover, has named Franck Loschi as its new head of its grain trading division.
Mr. Loschi has 15 years’ experience in the French grain market, ten of those years trading both grains and oilseeds. For the past three years he served as the general manager of ADM France, the French subsidiary of Chicago-based Archer Daniels Midland (ADM).
Mr. Loschi will be tasked with generating and developing relationships with local and international grain traders and players in the local processing industry.
Mr. Loschi is the third executive manager that Agricover has added in as many years, following the addition of Dutch banker, Robert Rekkers, who heads the group’s financial division, and Stefan Bucataru, the head of Agricover’s Agribusiness division.
Founded in 2000 by Azeri businessman, Jabbar Kanani, Agricover’s business grew by 18% in 2014 to reach €285 million.
